Here/Not Here (And The Space Between) a media art installation by Judith Price

The FLUX Media Gallery presents Here/Not Here (And The Space Between) a new media art installation by Judith Price, from Aug 16 to September 6. The opening reception will be 7 pm on August 16. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday, noon to 5 pm.

Consisting of ambiguous imagery, empty spaces and shadowy landscapes, the works in this installation capture the feeling of looking for something just out of reach, a liminal space between presence and absence, where change and transformation can occur.

Judith Price has maintained a transdisciplinary art practice for over 29 years since attending the University of British Columbia. (MFA1988). Her body of work includes performance pieces, performative videos, video installations, site-specific installations and short films. Judith is a founder of the Victoria-based performative art collective, Open Action, and she has exhibited works at venues including the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and Antimatter Film Festival.
